Rosie is a 15.3h, 13y/o percheron cross mare. I started riding as an adult and she has been forgiving and patient with me as a beginner. We started going to hun shows and she can easily jump 3'6" (she LOVES jumping!) We switched to dressage and she has transitioned willingly to her new job. She has an amazing personality. A jack of all trades, can do it all at the lower levels. Beginner safe, fun enough for the experienced rider! My friend who has been riding for 15+ years also enjoys her. She is at Bennets Creek farm (www.bennettscreekfarm.com) in clarksburg/urbana (check out their website!) It is a quiet, amazing place with a very skilled dressage/hunt/eventing trainer. I would like to lease her to a beginner who is interested in learning better riding or an intermediate rider who wants some time in the saddle I am offering her for lease ONLY. Half lease would be 300 for 3 scheduled days. Safe horse with lots of training.Please email with questions- she is a VERY safe horse. I was terrified when I started riding again. I had a bad accident before her and was slow to trust again. She has been super quiet, easy on trails, easy even during heat.
