Cheyanne is a 14.2h leapord Appolousa mare. She is beautiful and sweet.
She's wonderful on the ground. Easy to catch, tethers for hours, great with her feet, easy to tack and load on the trail easily. She doesn't raise her head or fight to be bitted but rides easily bitless too. She doesn't buck, rear, or do anything like that, but she is forward. She needs an intermediate to advanced rider. She rides perfectly fine with a group of other horses or by herself. She's traffic and trail safe. Rides w/t/c ring or trail. She goes english, western, bareback and double.
She's very light and responsive (she wont freak out and take off with you, but she goes when you tell her to). She's been shown in western pleasure, jumping, gymkhanas. I have done TONS of trail riding with her and dressage. She would also be amazing at endurance, english pleasure, driving, or just about anything else. She neck reins nicely and is comfortable around cattle. SHE IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME HORSE!!
I bought Cheyanne to do endurance and be a super safe trail horse. We have also done training level dressage. She has been wonderful with my children and I feel comfortable letting them ride double with me. I am only selling her because we have moved and I can't seem to get her into the local coop barn as I had hoped to do.
I would consider leasing her too.
