I recently rescued a a chestnut quarter horse mare from neglect. As I got her home, she has really warmed up to everyone and is starting to become a horse again. Poco stands tied and for farrier, vet, baths, and to be saddled. I am not quite sure of her past training, but poco knows both leads on cue. This mare absolutely loves trail rides, is very tidy in her stall, and loads right into a trailer without a second glance. She knows sliding stops as well as how to spin, so we have been working on reining moves along with calm trail rides to get her into the swing of being worked again.... (read more) I was thinkng she may have been a cow horse at some point, but she could easily be turned into anything. Asking $500 to ake up for vet, feed, and farrier bills to allow another rescue to be brought in. Email or call/text 765-720-0460 for more information.
