Leo is 1/2 Paso & 1/2 Quarter Horse, with the Paso confirmation and gait, and the Quarter Horse more laid-back temperament. He has an incredible Largo gait, and a very smooth canter. We ride Leo in hackamores and bitless bridles, with Paso, Western or English tack- all have their benefits/advantages and he is comfortable with whatever you put on him. He is well suited for trail riding and has also been ridden along the road, and does not spook at cars. We recommend Leo for an intermediate beginner as he does have a forwardness about him , but he is not difficult to handle, and does not have any vices.
