Don Juan is an 8 year old super gentle, 15.2 hand, 1200#, super broke gelding, with all the color and looks anyone can want. He is a made show horse that can pack just about anyone around the show pen from youth to senior. He is a complete gentleman in every way on his back and on the ground. A very solid horse in the arena, broke the best, rides very correct, rides off your leg and spur cues like an old campaigner. Since purchasing Juan we have started riding him outside, prowling pastures, moving cattle around, checking fence, and waters. He is taking to this very well. The cowboy that sold us this horse had roped the hot heels and tracked a lead steer around. He decided Juan was not going to have the speed he needed to make a top head horse. I believe he could sure drag calves or help doctor a sick pretty quick. We are not representing this horse as a finished Ranch Horse but this guy is very smooth, sensible, and kind, with a few more miles outside he will be a great asset for any ranch or he is ready to take to the show pen now.
