Cloud's Nightrain's Whirlwind is a super horse. We bought him in 2006 in hopes of getting a foal out of my 20 year old mare. We now have two beautiful filly s out of her! Cloud had not been handled by people much, couldn't be touched past his neck & needed some weight etc. Cloud had a good confirmation & great papers! Within just a couple of months we had him gentled down. Cloud now stands for trimming and grooming. He has no bad habits, he has never been aggressive with people. Cloud is now very social, loves attention from people & people love him. Our vet liked him so much that he recommended him for stud service (Cloud is the only stud we have ever had and we didn't plan to try this) ...a first for us. He's a real gentleman & has produced some super offspring.
We are selling some of our herd. We have become attached to Cloud. He has great manners, walk right up to him or call him & he'll come. He actually likes working in the round pen, he's our only horse that you can call, open the gate with lunge stick in hand & he walks in & wants to work. Although he is not broke, he's very gentle, I can do anything with him that I want to, put on a saddle, bridle etc. My husband & I have both been on him. If you are looking for a stud to ride he will be easy to finish out. We don't need more babies and we don't have the land to keep him separate from our mares. Our vet recommended gelding him so we could keep him, but my husband doesn't want him gelded because he is such an outstanding stud. SOooooo if you are looking for a beautiful easy to keep stud that will put some gait in your babies Cloud's your stud!
If you would like to see some pictures of his babies call or email us.
