I had a friend who wanted to lease this mare for 2 years but has changed her mind for personal reasons. This horse is for sale or lease.
Mare -- never been bred my friend does own a QH paint stud, if you wanted her bread he charges $100 she would make a good mother and give you pretty babys that would be a paint. I can give you his number, you work it out with him.
She is tall, about 15.3
Black and White paint
Gaited -- she is not a pure breed TW but she is gaited like one
Current Neg Coggins expires 6-25-13
She would be a good lesson horse, intermediate rider or a beginner that knows some stuff about horses. She does not take a harsh hand, she listens to the riders voice and is easy to handle. She has not been ridden much this past year and does need some refresher work but that should not take more than a week or so. She loads, ties (for hours!), stands for a bath. . . Due to something that happened before a bought her tongue has a slit in it that goes all the way around and because of that you CANNOT put a bit in her mouth. She responds just fine in a hackamore and you will not need anything else. She does not neck rain completely. Rides English, and western on the trails. I have always used her as a trail horse, she does very well out on the trails. An easy relaxing ride. She would not make a good horse for speed events unless you are just doing it for fun. She is not a FAST horse.
She is 6-7 Years old
Has been UTD on shots and coggins
In 2011 she had an injury to her back leg, it is now completely healed, she was seen by a vet numerous occasions to treat the leg and she shows no pain or lameness to it at all. There is a very slight size difference in the leg compared to the other one as a result of the injury. The injury was a fluke accident.
She has been out on lease and is ready to be out on lease again or be sold.
You would lease this mare for at least one year at $100 a year. You are responsible for feed, vet, hoof and all care. She would be at your place you may not keep her at my place. I would come and see your farm first and we would have a legal contract. She has had 2 lease owners over the last 2 years, both have enjoyed her and it has worked out well on both ends.
She is for sale. Asking price is $500. You CANNOT ride her with a bit. Please read details under horse information. You must transport, I do not own a trailer. I have a friend I will give you her number and you two can work out transport arrangements if you need to find someone who can transport.
I would trade for a weaned cow or older cow
I do a part trade or full trade (depending on what you have) for an older large pony or small horse (11-14hands roughly give or take) I do not care what it looks like. Prefer gelding, may be interested in mare. The horse/pony would need to be bomb proof I would want to come out and see him/her a couple times and make sure it is the right one for my daughter. Looking for something 15-20years in good health and sound.I would not like something that is stubborn, I want it to be willing to do what is asked without needing to constantly be kicked in order to move along and do what is asked. Again, if I were to trade for another horse it would need to be completely dead broke.
