15yr, 15h Quarter Horse mare sporting 4 brands. She is an extremely well trained all around ranch horse that knows the meaning of a real job on a working ranch. She has been used to cut, pen, sort and push cattle - and this mare will just assume to eat one up! Rarely will one get by her, she has superior handle and turn around abilities, is quick on her feet and has plenty of power and drive. Insanely catty and quick to respond with auto leads every time.... (read more) Due to the nature of her prior job on the ranch she is a 4 wheel drive machine out on the trails. This is my mount of choice when we head out and I can attest to
her leadership and bravery in different situations. She does not get flustered and is good about terrain and obstacles. She will behave on the road, motorcycles and tractor trailers do not bother her. While in the group she prefers to lead or hang toward the middle, this mare has a "can do" temperament and likes to prove it while she is working. She is awesome in the arena, goes right to work for her rider, no matter what you ask of her, she will try to make you happy. Her rider should know how to ride a "broke" horse as she is quick to respond and eager to please - she is not for the beginner only due to her responsiveness to cues. She has been played with on the barrel and pole patterns and loves it, she can really lay down nice patterns already and turns with ease and style! She will come to you with a superior neckrein, auto leads, lopes right off when asked, side pass, incredible rollbacks, and cutting maneuvers. You can also work a gate or pony a rank colt and she remains rock solid- she will not feed off the nonsense going on around her.
She has no vices, ties, loads and is not marish. She loves attention and is nice to be around. This is a cowboys kind of horse, a true all around using horse - all heart, all try and get the job done.
