Smooth and experienced trail horse. After my surgery this spring the first horse I rode was Honey. The day after I was released to ride I took her to Shawnee and spent four days camping and riding her in all types of areas she is so smooth I wasnt a bit sore. She is a great lead horse and does not shy at anything she will also get right in line behind Quarter horses and when given a loose rein puts her head down and calmly walks at a slower pace. She has a beautiful headset and the smoothest gait of any horse I have ridden.... (read more) She will flat walk, fox trot, and go right into a canter if asked to. She is blue papered with a GOLD seal which means her confirmation and FOX TROT have been inspected by the MFTA and pass their standards she has Zane Grey on top and bottom and Missouri Traveler E on bottom as well she is bred the best. She has been ridden around four wheelers, dogs, cars, RR tracks, creeks, wooden bridges and various obstacles all with great ease. She backs, loads, washes with sprayer etc she is a great horse. I think she would be best suited for someone with experience because she is rather fast in her gait. She is a real joy to ride and able to go anywhere she has a real aim to please attitude for her rider. Honey is an awesome mare that I have really enjoyed riding to a good home only. Going to try to add a video of her fox trot, which resembles Missouri Traveler. Her date of birth is May 2001 and she is aprox 14.1 hands. She is UTD on wormers etc with four new shoes. We breed a select few mares each year that have great confirmation, temperments, and a natural four beat gait. We offer to qualified homes a limited number of weanlings and yearlings for sale as available. We occasionally have a well trained trail horse available for consideration also.
