His grandsire on his top side, Bueno Chex, is an AQHA champion, NCHA money earner, halter, performance, and ROM point earner. His grandsire on the bottom side, Peppy San Badger, won the NCHA Futurity and Derby, and was inducted into the AQHA hall of fame (2008). Doc O Lena is also in his background.
