Jackson is a Warmblood/Appalooa cross and is a safe and sane gentle giant suitable for beginners on up. He has competed through Novice level eventing and is ready for Training. He has taken his rider to her C2 rating in Pony Club as well as to the 2011 USPC Eventing Championships where he finished on his dressage score of 34. He recently placed 1st in Novice at the May Poplar Place Horse Trials where he finished on his dressage score of 31.7. He has qualified for the 2012 AEC's. Jackson competed in open jumpers and foxhunted with his previous owner. He has also served as a crowd control outrider horse at theSteeplechase at Callaway Gardens, where he was extremely well behaved and performed like a champ. He even helped track down a loose horse in the woods and safely bring her home! Jackson has wonderful ground manners. He loves baths and having his ears cleaned and quietly stands for clipping and the farrier. Jackson is the perfect partner for someone wanting to gain experience and have fun with eventing! He is only offered for sale because his current owner will be leaving for college soon. Reasonable offers considered to the perfect home. Located in Hamilton, GA.
