Michaela J is an awesome trail horse! She'll ride all day and through anything! Been on the trails at Taylorsville Lake and has been all over the town of Chaplin and the trails surrounding my farm. She's super traffic and trail safe.
A no fuss horse, ready to go as soon as she tacked up!
She's been exposed to cattle and shows some interest in moving them with some encouragement. She rides great alone and with a group, she actually rides alone more often. She's been exposed to some ATV's but I cant say for sure if she's comfortable with them (they were riding some distance from me). She's great with dogs and crosses logs like they're nothing. Loves the water, creeks, ponds, puddles she does them all. She even likes to go swimming while riding!
She loads like a dream and will stand tied for hours. She'll stand to be braided and groomed all day if you'd let her. Can be difficult to catch in the field sometimes.
Michaela J is completely BLIND in her left eye ONLY but this doesn't effect her riding in the least!. IT doesn't make her jumpy or shy under saddle at all!! In fact you'll never notice that she's half blind!
She would make a great husband horse or even a great older child's horse. I've put all my newbie rider friends on her and never had a problem.
The papers I have of her's say that she's duly registered, but I only have the US trotting ones on hand. She has had several healthy, beautiful foals , but none with me and none recently.
You won't be disappointed in this Mare!!!
