Unicorn Fields Farm is offering a well-manned, dramatic, dark bay, full-blooded, 8-year old, 15-hand, Arabian gelding for sale. Bogie (barn name) enjoys going out on trails and has begun both dressage and hunt-seat training. Bogie appears to have a true aptitude for jumping and goes cross-country over natural obstacles with enthusiasm. Bogie is currently ridden by a 12-year old girl and is very respectful of her. He is NOT a horse for a total beginner. He does well for riders of intermediate skill, regardless of age. Bogie has excellent potential for endurance and hunter-jumper. Bogie is a willing learner!Bogie is currently out on pasture with other geldings and is about mid-rank in terms of dominance. He also gets along well with mares. Bogie is barefoot with good hooves, and is trimmed every 4-5 weeks. He stands well for the farrier and for the Vet. Bogie is an easy keeper. He is up to date on his shots, has a current Coggins, and is wormed on a regular basis. We specialize in horses that can be ridden by the entire family, from beginners to advanced. Only one or two young horses are in training at a time so that we can give them the time they deserve. We limit our foals to one or two a year in order to provide them with hours of "people-time".
