Cowboy has been gently started on barrels and poles, trotting and some loping. He is NOT finished in anything. I have been using Clinton Anderson technics with him. He has a decent stop (does not slide), backs ups, good rein, flexes neck both ways, picks up into a lope from a walk, smooth smooth smooth gates. He needs work on yeilding his front and hind quarters and side passing. With dedication he will make a nice barrel and pole horse. I've NEVER pushed him into more than a lope, but he's fast turned out.... (read more) Halter bred on top, race bred on the bottom. The only unfortunate thing is he cannot be registered AQHA, only due to the fact his granddam on his sires side is registered Appaloosa. He can be registered half Quarter Horse or Palomino. I do have his breeders information and all pedigree info if you do pursue to register him. Experienced rider only! He has a great foundation but not bomb proof by any means.
