Smokey is a very well trained - completely bombproof horse that would work well in many disciplines. He has tons of trail miles alone and with other horses. He has been specifically trained as a mounted police horse and crowd control. Nothing rattles his cage! He is very warm and friendly, too and loves hugs and attention. He has no vices what so ever and gets along well with all the other horses. He is jet black with NO markings. He is not only tall, but very stocky and strong. At 3 years old (foal date 5/26/04) he stil has some growing to do! When he finsihing filling out he will be specatular (not that he isn't already!). He is one of the better students that the academy has seen - truly a hard worker, level headed and gorgeous, too! The lead trainer said he made his list of top all time horses to come through the program. He actually used him as his personal trail mount during his 12 weeks of training.... He REALLY is that good! As with all of our horses that come in from Minnesota right now, he has a very thick winter coat in place already so he is a little "shaggier" than normal. Smokey is great for about any level rider and many disciplines as he has the height, the sturdy build and the background to succeed.
