Additional Comments:
(The black gelding's ad is under "Asa Khango Zaltar"). Old Egyptian breeding on these boys. They are 14.2-3H, 15 years old, Khanga is black and Bob is grey. They were left for several years without being ridden and have recently had a tune-up. I would still call them green-broke, but neither has shown any buck, rear or bolt. Khanga is the black gelding and he is confident, willing, and likes to trot. Not very spooky, but likes to approach new things gradually. Bob is more passive, would rather go slower, and is wary of new things and new people. He's a sweetie and needs someone who will give him confidence.
These geldings are not suited for beginners and we have them priced low in order to find good homes for them with someone who will continue their training. They are both very healthy, sound, and nice to work with. Both will make nice trail horses, and have a solid base with their arena training. Up to date on vaccinations and deworming. FYI: Their owner "trimmed" the burrs out of their manes and tails last fall...they are growing back nice and full, but the tails are still short :) $300 each or $500 for both.
