Berit is a calm and unflappable 12-year-old Fjord mare. She has been used as a schooling horse and in a theraputic riding program. Everyone loves her and she loves everyone. She is safe for a beginner child, but capable of doing more for an experienced rider. Fine in the ring or out on the trail. She has been bred once and produced a very nice colt who is now much like his mother -- a great riding horse. Berit stands for anything and loads easily. Ridden primarily English with a snaffle. Only vices are some Fjord stubborness (they are smart!) and a love of food. Selling only because daughter is going to college. Negotiable only to a perfect home.
