Texas A and M University-Commerce - The Texas A&M University-Commerce Educational Farm and Ranch is home to both a Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred Breeding herd. The ranch has quarter horse mares and thoroughbred mares that are crossed each year with our quarter horse and thoroughbred studs. The foals are trained by students through the college courses. Each year horses trained by students are offered for sale. The university farm and ranch also maintains a riding horse herd of around 15 horses and horses of all ages in training.
