"Joker" Smoky Poco Lena is a beautiful, AQHA registered line-back dun gelding. He is super broke and very athletic. He's had professional training in the past and has been trail rode and hauled to many events. He has been through the fundamental and intermediate phases of round penning and groundwork training. Stout enough to be a roping horse. Athletic enough to sort or do cutting. Trained and patterned on barrels and poles. Smart enough to learn anything you wish! Could even go English! This horse can do it all & he loves to please. Joker is not a "dead-head" but he is not hot either. He will plod when you want and go when you want! He runs a nice, solid pattern on poles and barrels. He has been hauled by himself and with other horses to outdoor, indoor and covered arenas. Has participated in playday events such as flags, panty race, speed and quads. He has been ridden ridden in the woods as well as on the road. No problems with traffic, 4-wheelers, tractors or dogs. Walk, trot, lope, roll backs, side passes, swims, and has even been over some jumps. He has the best ground manners, loads/unloads, great for the farrier, etc. Rides in a smooth snaffle, halter, or if you want him to sit and stop a Jr cow horse bit will do. Come try him, you will love him!, he will get you noticed everywhere you go! He just had teeth floated February2012, all vaccinations UTD, current NEG Coggins, feet trimmed every 6weeks (goes barefoot). I've owned this horse since he was 5 years old and a good home is a must. The only reason I'm selling him is because I can only have two horses. Solid foundation/cutting horse breeding. Bred and raised in New Mexico.
