Wesley is a 9 year old, 16.1 hh flaxen chestnut gelding, Belgian Draft crossed with Quarter horse. Very attractive, easy keeper, that has great ground manners: cross-ties, ties, works of trailer, stands well for tacking/grooming, shoeing, clipping. Loads and trailers well, has been to many new/different places and takes it all in stride, well behaved/mannered. Good in pasture, nice to others. You can pony off of this horse, he is respectful and quiet. Good basic flatwork, can go nicely/easily in a round frame, gets his leads, has an extension at trot and canter, bends well, leg-yields, would be able to do well at training level dressage test at a show tomorrow, schooling first level.  Wesley, Flatwork, Late Sept 2012 Trails rides and fox hunts. Reliable, safe and fun for an intermediate to experienced rider--easy going, sure footed, sane, and athletic, yet solid. Not quite ready for beginners as he can get strong in the field, but we only ride in a snaffle at this point. Good with cows, ditches, water, coops, and jumps of up to 3 foot are easy for him, could possibly do more. Please inquire for more info. UPDATE: this horse has had the winter off, but is coming back into work nicely. Current price is $6500 but after he finishes his 'tune up' the price will increase after May 1st.
