This is a great little mare with loads of potential. I purchased this mare for my eleven year old niece from an elderly man who had done the training and riding on her. He had ridden her extensively in the mountains to hunting camps and had helped gather cows on her. We sent her to a professional trainer where she spent two months learning to spin, side pass both directions, change leads, etc. We have also used her to sort and gather cows but haven't ever roped on her. However, my niece can swing a rope on her and can drag logs. She's never offered to buck, kick, bite, strike, or spook. Gentle enough for just about anybody to ride. She's been introduced to english and has started jumping small jumps. She's quick and athletic enough to make a competitive horse for Little Britches Rodeo, Gymkhanas, Open Shows, and 4H. OR would make somebody a safe, trusty trail riding horse. She's extremely easy to catch, shoe, haul, and stands tied. A great home is a must for Babe, we're extremely fond of her.
