Maddie is a Terrific Trail Mare! Trained/used for field trials when she was started and now is a very surefooted, consistent, and safe trail horse. She has ridden all over these mountains w/dogs, seen game, cows, peacocks, and crossed water, bogs, bushwhacked through thickets...w/ NO foolishness. She has a nice smooth 4 beat gait that gets you where you want to go, and a good easy canter as well. There is no kick, bite, buck, or monthly silliness about this nice mare.Beautiful rich dark chocolate w/ dapples. Shoes, clips, worms, vets, loads easily. UTD on everything and well taken care of. Her paper's are top notch should you ever want top breed her. Kept now w/ 2 other mares and 2 yearlings, and though she is 2nd in charge, shows no meanness.
