Dont let Chuckles age fool you, he IS NOT old or old acting. This boy will out walk any other horse on the trail, he likes to lead, is alert but not reactive, completely solid and sound, no swollen joints or arthritis in this guy, he is looking for someone to make him their main riding mount, he is not an "extra" horse to have sitting around, he likes to be used and go, he has another 10 years left in him easy, no Im not joking, this guy is the picture of health and he acts like it. He is UTD on all vaccinations, negative 2012' coggins, wormed every 2 months, trimmed every 6 weeks, he travels barefoot and has beautiful feet. This guy is low maintenence as far as feed, he is on grass has and fed Patriot equine senior feed. The only querk Chuckles has is that he tap dances when tied, he does not pull but tap dances with his front feet and will head bob. This is something we have worked on with him for the last 3 months, he has gotten alot better but I have the feeling it will be something he will always do, if it dosent bother you it dosent seem to bother him. His previous owner said he was never asked to stand tied so I dont feel this is something he will ever completely get over, a person needs to be realistic as for how long he has been allowed this and his age. I use to ride him in a snaffle but he seems to prefer a hack, Chuckles is very very sweet and is NOT a throw away horse, he is a wonderful boy looking for someone to trail ride with, self loads in a trailer, rides out alone or in a group, baths, clips etc.
If interested I can deliver Chuckles for the cost of fuel
