16 year old - Dunnie was used as a trail horse for five years, then went into a lesson program for beginners for over a year. She's safe and sound. Her vice is her ears which makes her hard to bit. I have used an Indian Bossal for her and she's done fine with that. We never canter her. She is a good, solid mare low on the pecking order. I catch her, tack her, groom her, clean her feet and mount without problems. She has awesome ground manners ( round pens, leg cues, line backs and flex into one rein stop). If u r looking for a horse to walk along the trails or use as an extra, she would make the trip.
