I bought sweet pea at an auction and she was not honestly represented. She is an awesome horse but not what I was looking for. She has a strain in one of her hind legs so she shouldnt do any hard work. She is saddle and harness broke as well as halter broke. She lounges with no problems at all and she loves to talk. The funniest thing is her belly rubs, when you scratch her belly she stretches her head out and curls her lips out and shows her teeth and just loves it.... (read more) She is full of sweet temperment I put her at a 1 in temperment. She leads excellent. Her only kick back is her feet, she doesnt do well with farrier work, my farrier has tried twice to trim her feet with very little success and its obvious the people that had her before had the same luck. She loves to be groomed and its up to date on shots and wormings and bi-weekly flea and tick treatments. Sweet Pea is 14 and really needs a good loving home. She will do great with kids and beginners with riding because of her calm nature. She will do small trots but nothing more than that she would do great in trail riding she loves the woods here at my house. I can climb on her and underneath she is an all around great horse. She will be in Abington, VA on April 27th and 28th for the Draft Horse Tri State Auction.
I will ship her to you if needed, you pay fuel cost, we do have a horse transport business. For more info on us and sweet pea you can visit our site at www.wecarehorsetransport.com.
