Prince - 3 year old registered Appaloosa gelding. He currently stands 14.1 hands but he's still growing so he should mature to 14.2-14.3. He's mostly white with the red roan coloring around his neck and chest and spots along his hindquarters and of course he has 2 blue eyes. Don't let his age fool you - he behaves better than my 14 year old gelding! We bought him last year from Camelot Horse Rescue and I started him under saddle last fall. He continued his training this spring and we couldn't ask for a better little gelding!... (read more) He's easy to catch, tether, load, saddle, ect. stands for the vet and farrier. He has nice feet and a good build. The kids can brush him all out and he could care less.
When I say this gelding is "broke", I mean BROKE. I can walk out with a halter and lead and jump on him in the field. He'll go where ever you point him! He rides English, Western or bareback, w/t/c, no buck or foolishness. He'll lope around the ring, turn a pole or a jump, then stop and walk on with his head right low. Great prospect for western pleasure! Rides best in a halter or hackamore but he's fine with a snaffle too.
The only reason we're selling him is cause he have too many!! We need to cut back on our stock. I really can't stress enough how wonderful he is! Kids can take him out for trail rides, he's 100% traffic and trail safe. He'll go over logs, through water or mud, over bridges - point him at it and he'll go. He's the definition of an honest horse - there's not a mean bone in his body!
We may be able to truck him (for a fee) anywhere within a reasonable distance of Bradford.
Would be a great horse for a kid who wants to do 4-H or trail riding, or someone looking for a western pleasure horse! Can email pictures! firstname.lastname@example.org or call/text me (802)461-7390. Can also call Shannon at (802)249-5412 or (802)439-3993
