Baretta is a twelve year old 13h pony mare. Baretta is a great mare with a great work ethic attitude. She will walk right out on a loose rein and will keep up with the big guys. We can't say enough about her, she went on a 2 1/2 hour hack the other day and never looked at a thing, cars, motor bikes, all kinds of stuff on this road trip ride and not a bat of an eye. She has a great big road hack trot and an easy canter and gallop as well and is ready for more and easy to come down with just a touch of the rein from 10 year old shayla. She goes out alone and with others. She neck reins like a dream and is willing to do barrels and poles at trot or canter, she is fantastic out the trail and willing to go through anything. Baretta is also a great little english ride and willing to jump 2 feet with ease. She is super light to weight and leg, but will not move faster without being asked. This pony is ideal for a young rider who wants to do it all. She loves to be fussed with and will follow you like a dog . She stands tied and loves to be groomed. This is one of those exceptional ponies perfect for the youngster or small adult who would like to have a versatile and fun little mount. She has a stocky build that carries a 5'4 rider 130 lbs without a problem. little girl, she neckreins and listens to leg. She is light and easy to get going and to slow down. She is great in the ring, she listens well enough that a child could ride her. She knows both her leads and picks them up easily. We have been using her to guide trail rides and we have even ponied off of her and she was awesome. She has worked cows before as well and has been used in the past to round up bulls. She is easy to work with and is very respectful of you on the ground. She is good with her feet and the vet.
