Corona is a gorgeous pinto gelding, with a wonderful, flashy trot. On the ground, he's super calm and sweet. Under saddle, he is spirited, but not dangerous. He has done barrels, cattle. and is now in dressage training with Pam Andrews. Because he isn't finished in one discipline, he'll need additional training from whoever buys him. Knows the basics and above, totally rideable, just lacks finesse in any one discipline.
Goes western or english, shanked or snaffle! Goes bareback, swims, been on many trails rides, been to beach, ridden in halter, etc. Great with loud equipment, dogs, emus, goats, cats, etc. Currently pastured on road, so not scared of cars or automatic gates either. Really great, fun ride!! Ive had him since I was 12, so a good home is a must for him. Obviously not for beginner rider, as he is young, Arab, and very spirited (and loves to gallop on beaches!).
Anyone could 'ride' him, but to really RIDE, as in correctly, he needs an intermediate or above. He'd be a great project horse for a teen working with a trainer, and could go tthe gymkhana, cattle, or dressage route- VERY versatile! Just needs some time in a single discipline to iron out any kinks he might have, if you're looking to go the arena/competition route. If you just want an athletic, fun trail horse, to explore mountains and valleys with, he's already there!
UTD on shoes, shots, and worming. Just had his teeth and sheath done last week. Sound. Only vice is head tossing if you reach too fast for his face, which he learned on his cattle ranching days.
Come and meet him, talk to his trainer, take him on a ride. In fact, I'd encourage anyone interested to come out and see him while she's there. Only reason for selling is that I have no time for him b/c of school, and am looking to do a different discipline than he is capable of, and can't afford to keep him if I want to lease/buy another.
Price is very OBO, please make an offer.
