New Photos & Video from 5-28. This was the first time I've rode RJ since march. Makes me not want to sell him. More videos to upload that are longer. See more video at youtube.com/warpaintkennels
"RJ" is a really nice, rare buttermilk buckskin gelding TWH. He has the best confirmation you will find. He has been my personal horse for 4 years and we have field trialed, squirrell hunted, trail road, and more. I used the horse primarily as a hunting horse for the first couple years. He has had guns shot all around him, dogs under his feet, brush under his tail, etc. I have since hauled him to trail rides, or anywhere else I wanted to go. I no longer hunt wth dogs, nor am I field trialing. Thus, I have been taking him only on family rides occasionally for the last few years. I have started team roping and chasing cows and find it hard to take the time to ride him as much as he deserves. It has been a hard decision, but we have decided to let someone else enjoy him. He did great, as always. He is good natured and a pretty easy going horse. He is more lazy than not, when he is ridden any at all. He will stand to mount, shoe, etc. He has a true walking gate and has a great running walk. Like all, the more you ride him, the more he will impress you. He isn't a horse that needs riding everyday to stay good. I left him off for 7 months and all he did was look a little harder at a few rocks and backpackers, but never offers to jump or act silly. When I was using him regular, we went through places most people would never attempt, and never blinked an eye.
He has been on rides with lots of horses and will ride anywhere in the line. Has no issues with strange horses.
He is a really nice horse and you will look long and hard to find one like him. I will consider reasonable offers, but no tire kickers please.
