Breggo is an 8 year old black Percheron QH cross gelding. He stands about 18H and easily takes a standard saddle so long as it has a wide pommel - no need to go shopping for a new draft saddle. I've ridden him primarily western but he also rides bareback and he's been rated for dressage but has never been used as such. He has recently started working cattle and really enjoys it. I don't work him as much as he needs to be worked and would like to see him go to a home where he would be able to do what he enjoys.... (read more) The first couple rides after being in pasture he's a little excited, but he calms down quickly. Because he is strong, I'd say he probably needs an intermediate rider. Prior to my owning him he did hunting trips and packed in kills. I don't know if he's been shot off of or not. He's super easy to catch, stands great for the farrier, stands tied, loads into a trailer like a champ, is an easy keeper, solid black feet... He's been around all types of stock including cattle, sheep, goats... and he's fine with dogs. He learns very quickly and would probably do very well driving a cart. He's got a great personality and aims to please. Asking $2000 OBO to a good home only.
