Chief - A Beautiful Tri-Color Paint Gelding Trail Horse

A 15-year-old tri-color tobiano paint gelding named Chief. He is 15.2 hands and mostly bay & white, with gorgeous black and white mane. Chief's got a great personality and is very affectionate. He is solid, strong, has clean legs and healthy feet. He’s been barefoot for 2 years. No shoes needed. Chief is very fast and has plenty of energy. He would make a great 4H horse. He is a gentleman on the ground, great for the farrier, & ties and loads well. I mostly take him out on trail rides, at a walk/trot and he’ll walk through water no problem. He stops and stares when he sees a deer. Chief direct reins, and moves beautifully off of leg pressure. He has a nice smooth trot. An advanced beginner or experienced rider would work best with Chief. Chief enjoys 24 hour turnout with a shelter. He is currently living on a working farm and is used to dogs, cows, and machinery/vehicles. He is being ridden consistently at least 1-2 times a week.
