I rode her after the trainer brought her home and showed us what he had accomplished just around our place and we were very pleased. He did exactly what we asked. Polly's first time on trails was on 7/6 in Morrison State Park. Mike rode her with a sidepull and she crossed water, mud, went up hills and down, lots of new sights and sounds and took all in stride... if she was a gelding she would never go anywhere! but Mike says we are not keeping any mares. Easy to catch, and very friendly.
