Bummys Hotrodder (barn name Lenny) is a coming 13 yr old Quarter Horse gelding. He is approximately 15.2hh. He is now available after being leased to a 13 year old student for the summer. Lenny's pictures also do not do this horse justice! He is absolutely stunning in person. Lenny has a very friendly, curious personality. He has been used previously in a lesson program. Lenny will ride english or western and holds himself collected. He is very showy and flashy. Lenny seems to think there is always a judge watching him. He is confident and feels rock solid underneath his rider. Lenny has a nice neck rein and moves off leg nicely and is dynamite at gymkhana events like barrels and stakes - then throw on the english tack and watch him shine there as well and absolutely loves to jump. This versatile horse is perfect for a rider who wants to do it all or just wants a super responsive fun and safe horse to love and play with. He has very comfy gaits that are easy to ride. Transitions up and down are also very smooth. He knows his leads and can do flying changes. Will half pass and side pass. He enjoys working in the arena, outdoor and indoor. He has been jumping all summer and enjoys course work. He is not a poke and will move right out when asked. Lenny is also very quite out on the trail. He will go out alone or with others. He will lead or follow. He likes to walk right out. Goes over and through everything that we have asked him to. Not spooky and very confident. He loads quietly in the trailer, stands on cross ties, quiet for grooming and tacking. Good out with other horses. Good for the vet. Picks up feet. We think Lenny would be ideal for a young confident teen or active adult rider who wants to have a lot of fun with their mount.
