1995 Grey All Around Mare Great With Kids!!

If you are looking for a great all around horse for a young kid you have come to the right place. She is, as far as i know, not registered. When we bought her the man said he sent the papers in but it was lost in the mail so she isn't registered, but i have a coming 3 yr old colt out of her and he was easy to train and is very well mannered. I started riding Snippy when her and i were both 8 years old. I am now almost 17. I have won many 1st place ribbons, all around belt buckles, money, and trophies on her and she is great with anyone. When we got her, she was a cutting, team penning, roping, and feed lot horse. I wanted to start barrel racing. Now she does it all, barrel racing, pole bending, key hole, flag race, goat tying, trail, parades, carried flags in parades, rides double and triple (if light weight), and all the others listed above. She has never once bucked, or even offered and everyone that is new to riding horse, they get to ride her, she one of the few all around, all age, horses we have. She hasnt been rode for a few years in competition hard, mostly just trailing, but i will be tuning up on her to get her back in the game. if you are at all interest please send me an email. She's a great horse and would do great for young kids. I feel horrible about selling her but my grandma wants to downsize and wants me to concentrate on the ones that need the most work. There is so much more i could say about her. Everyone in my family has rode her and alot of my friends have also. She runs about a 23-27 on poles, and in the pattern i run she last ran a 20.1 second time, but there is room for impovement yet, i ran her once this year and got 2nd in barrels and 2nd in poles, and i had only been riding her for 3 days. When i run she walks in the arena calm and walks out calm. i have taken her to 2 state 4-H horse shows in barrels and poles. I would like to get about $4000 OBO for her. I believe she is worth it. ps. she is branded on her left hind hip, but i didnt notice it until 3 years after i had gotten her it is pretty well hidden with her hair. it is an A with a line above it and below it.

I am also doing a winter barrel series, and i will start riding her in them soon the next one is Febuary 18th, 2012.

I rode her on January 29th, 2012 and she did fantastic! she ran the barrels like we have been doing it all year! she is definately worth the price for a consistand horse
