Flashy Black and white show stopping gelding. Apollo is a beauty that has it all. Looks, personality, gait, style and the right attitude. He is a lovely horse in every way. Apollo has a shiny, uniquely marked, smooth black and white coat, a muscular build, perfectly sculpted head with delicate ears and kind eyes. He is a lifetime horse with everything going for him! Apollo is a sweetheart to be around and is very fun to ride. He is extremely well trained, easy to ride, smooth as glass in the saddle and a gentleman in every way. Apollo is very easy to handle on the ground. He will let you do just about anything to him and will stand there quieter than a mouse. He is great to groom, bathe, clip, worm, lead, tack up, catch, load/unlaod, trailer... There isn't anything we've found that he will not do. Apollo is a wonderful horse ride. He is very calm, has an incredibly willing attitude and will do whatever you ask with the slightest request. All you have to do is ask and he will gladly turn, stop, gait, back up... Apollo is an obedient, loyal trail mount. He stands perfect to mount/dismount, listens patiently to his riders cues, stops with a "whoa", moves out with a squeeze of your legs, backs up, goes out alone and gaits masterfully. He has a super nice long reaching stride that will have you wanting to gait and gait and gait. He has a consistent 4 beat gait that he can perform slow or fast (no trot and no pace). He is as smooth as glass and effortlessly performs his gaits. No special cuing, just ask and he will gait. Apollo gets along great with other horses, goes out well in a group and is not spooky acting at all. He is solid, reliable and also very nice to be around. Apollo has had extensive trail training and shines when he is out exploring new areas. He has been exposed to country trails, turkeys, dogs, deer, crossing chest high water, walking over logs, city obstacles, busy traffic, bicycles, high winds... He is very intelligent and extremely sure footed on the trail. Apollo is a horse for beginner riders on up to enjoy. He is well trained, reliable, very smooth to ride and great on the trail.
