She loads, clips without any problems, bathes (loves to play with the water) stands for the farrier and is perfectly safe for kids to walk around, under and etc. She is very easy to catch, walks right up to you in the pasture.

She has been used for trail rides by the previous owner. His granddaughters rode her everywhere. She is excellent for trail riding, solid and not prone to spooking. We ride in the alleys here in town and she doesn't jump at the dogs and other things that make most spook. Very nice walk, trot and canter. Eager to investigate new things.

She has a very light mouth and doesn't require or want a heavy hand.

This is a great mare, is 'top dog' in the pasture, no attitude. Not 'mare-ish', a very good solid mare.

Blaze was sold, the new owners were not happy with her. I have her back. Blaze is a very nice mare and respects a rider that has confidence. I do not know the circumstances behind the problem, but she reared up with the lady that bought her. I don't know if the reins were too tight, if the equipment fit properly or what. Because of the buyer's health issues, we have agreed to refund her money.

Blaze is no different than any horse. That means she is a horse, not a machine. I cannot guarantee that she will be a deadbeat or bombproof in every situation. Should you want to meet her, ride and try her out with your own equipment or mine, you are perfectly welcome to do so. Please make sure that this is the horse you want because the sale will be final. It has been implied that I have misrepresented her temperament on this scale. Blaze is an absolute baby, she loves attention and will take all you can give. That is how I came to this rate. The people that bought her agree that she is all you can ask for while grooming and working with her. Again, I've had the mare for a year and we have been fine, I cannot promise how Blaze or any animal will act in situations that are foreign to her.
