One look at this guy and you will know why he is called Handsome!
Handsome is a big, stout, super gentle gelding that is built like a brick house and is 15.1 hands tall. Some of you may remember Handsome, he was listed on my site in 2009 and sold to one of my clients. Handsome has been a wonderful confidence builder for her and her family, but she has progressed and now wants to show Hunter Jumpers! While Handsome is a wonderful horse, let's just face it that jumping is not his cup of tea :) Prior to 2009 Handsome had some show experience as a colt and was purchased by Wengert Bros Ranches as a 3 year old. Handsome has been used seasonally on both of their ranches, in Holbrook and the 7 Mill Iron in Blue Water, NM. He is use to cattle work and long trail rides. Handsome is a very laid back and easy going horse. This horse has no desire to do anything "fast" and isn't suited as a performance horse; he is best suited a pleasure / trail horse. This horse is very gentle, no buck, bad habits or vices. He stands quietly to bathe, groom, shoe, clip, tack up and mount. Rides nicely in the arena, picks up his leads, neck reins and direct reins. Handsome is a friendly horse with a big goofy personality! A steal at $3500
