Koda is a super cute 12 year old, 14 hh, Palomino Arab/Quarter cross mare that is sweet, gentle, and loves to be ridden. She is AWESOME on trail and moves out nicely at a speed that keeps it fun. She goes out by herself or in a group. Koda is barefoot and does not require shoes. She is sound and healthy. She is not a spooky horse, but does move out, so a confident beginner and up would be best suited. She is sure-footed, strong for hills and mountains, and goes all day if you would like. She is in a pasture environment with other mares and is not alpha, is easy to catch, and has great ground manners. Koda stands for you to mount/dismount, moves off of leg pressure, and cues with direct or indirect rein pressure. In the arena, she picks up her leads, has a good stop, and loves to work cattle. She brings the steers up the lane when we rope and also is fun to team sort off of. She is cowy. She is also fun to run barrels on and do gymkhanas. She likes it and can be competitive. Koda is a great little all around mare that is a joy to be around and loves to be ridden. If you are looking for a great trail and arena mare to do lots of outside riding, trail trial, gymkhana, or cattle work- Koda would be a blast!!!
