Bob Dillon's Flipside (Memphis) is a 10 year old black and white TWH gelding registered with the Spotted Saddle Horse Association, and is a spitting image of his sire, Bob Dillon. Memphis is a tall, dark, and handsome boy, standing at 16HH. Due to Memphis' bloodlines he does have the ability to be registered with the TWH association also.

Memphis is trained using a combination of Pat Parelli and Clinton Anderson methods. He has performed in local shows and has done very well in halter, showmanship, and English and Western pleasure. We have owned Memphis for 6 years, showed him for the first 4 years, and since then he has been used for pleasure riding, mostly around the barn. He's a very proud, beautiful, and intelligent animal. He is quite a character and his personality will keep you smiling for hours.

Memphis has very smooth and enjoyable gaits, including a natural "rocking horse canter". Under saddle, Memphis will side pass in both directions, pivot, back, transition with ease, and stop on a dime. He rides both English and Western, alone or with a group. Memphis is also very responsive to pressure cues given with your legs, seat, and hands. Even though he has limited experience trail riding, with a confident/balanced rider whom is willing to expose him to the trails, he'll be able to rack up miles on him and become an awesome trail horse.

Memphis has exemplary ground manners, knows showmanship, pivots on the hind and front, disengages on the hind and front with ease, and will lunge on a line as well as freely. He bathes, clips, loads, trailers, stands tied to a post or in cross ties, also stands for the farrier, vet, etc and usually comes when called. He has no vices and is up to date on all shots, coggins, and dental work.

The only reason Memphis is for sale is because my mother decided she would like to go back to owning a quarter horse. Memphis would be best suited for an intermediate rider.
