Patches is smooth on trails, will go thru anything, up/down anything you ask, we lope her on trails quite often, so will go as fast as you want. She has strong feet, usually does not require shoes unless we ride on a gravel road, and even then she can handle it, I just prefer shoes on gravel. She has had some experience at playdays this last playday season, been to a few sortings/pennings, been used alot to push cattle, can swing rope on her, flank her and pull on rope- she won't budge, ropes around her legs wont bother her either so if you want to start her roping she would be perfect considering her size.... (read more) She would make an excellent Header. She is in barrel training now, loping a nice set of barrels. Picks up fast, very smart and willing to learn. If she is still for sale when finished with training, her price will go up. Ride her now put her in pasture for 6 months, hop on and she is still the same great ride. ALWAYS the first one to gate. Can't say enough good about her! My 10 yr old daughter rides her, although she is an experienced rider I believe she will make an awesome youth horse in no time! I will be adding videos soon. I also have a few other great horses for sale, having to downsize for winter!
