Additional Comments:
For sale or trade. Nova is a gorgeous little 14 hand bay overo paint mare. She has a snow white face with two pretty icy blue eyes, four white socks, one white patch on her stomach, and she roans out on her flanks and on the black on her legs. She's never been bred before, not registered. Her mom is a quarter horse and her dad is a paint. Broke to ride, she's a bit on the lazy side and you need spurs to get her to do anything other than walk. Happier in the back when riding, mostly cause she prefers to go at her own pace which is slow. Lol. She DOES have an ATTITUDE when she's eating; she hates being messed with until she's done. She'll lunge and kick and try to scare you away. She is what she is, and I don't want someone getting hurt just because I didn't tell them about her attitude issues. I think she's bipolar sometimes to be honest. Lol. Mean one second, and sweet and all in your pocket the next. She does better for people that get out and mess with her a lot; mostly because she knows she can't get away with anything. She acts like a complete lady when she's under-saddle, will let you do anything you want to her. She does crow hop when you're riding bareback though, but nothing you can't stay on when she does it. It's because she's used to a saddle being on her back, once she gets used to the change she acts completely fine. Walks, trots, and lopes when asked (with a little encouragement from the spurs). She'll even gallop when she's riding with other horses. I really do think she would do great for a kid that knew what they were doing. I've had her since late April early May of this year and since then she's been halter broke, broke to a saddle and bit (which she took wonderfully, didn't even flinch away from any of it). She's taken a rider very well. Hasn't bucked at all, except the two times I've tried riding bareback with her. And even then it was just a crow hop. She is sound, and is up to date with her wormings and shots, and has negative coggins. I am in no way in ANY hurry to get rid of her, shell always have a place here. I would just like a taller mare. And I would rather do an even trade for another mare. Or just sell her out right for 450 dollars. I will be picky about her home; she is my baby after all. And I would rather us keep in contact, especially if we do a trade. Feel free to ask any questions, and I have plenty of pictures for anyone that is interested. Thank you for reading I hope to hear from y'all soon, have a great day!!
