Polaris (barn name Aris) is a 7 year old Quarter Horse mare. She is approximately 15hh. Her solid build allows her to take any size rider. Aris loves to be groomed and fussed over. She will ride english or western. She has a very light mouth and is supple to leg aids. She does neck rein. Aris also knows how to come onto to the bit and will round herself nicely. She can also go long and low. She is incredibly comfortable. She has a nice little jog, but even her power trot is easy to sit to. She knows both her leads and can perform flying changes. She will ride pass, back, and roll back. She has experience with cows and gymkhana. You can rope off her, sort, or pen cattle. She is also excellent out on the trail. She is happy to lead or follow. Will stop and stand. Very patient horse. She is very forgiving and would be great in a lesson program or for a rider that is still learning. Aris is great out with other horses, mares and geldings. She will stand tied at the hitching pole all day long. Loads quietly on to the trailer. She is very experienced being hauled to different shows and events. She will stand for grooming, tacking, mounting, and dismounting.
