Additional Comments:
Ricochet Harlen (barn name Harley) is a registered Quarter Horse Gelding. He is 13 years old and about 15 hh. Harley has a solid build and strong hind quarters. He can carry a larger rider and is athletic enough to work all day long. Harley is happy to ride english, western, and bareback. He has an excellent neck rein, and he is very responsive to leg. Harley will spin, back, sidepass, and roll back beautifully in just a halter and lead rope. His gaits are smooth as glass. He can do a tiny little jog when asked. His extended trot is also very comfortable and has great movement. He goes into the lope easily and stays in it. He picks up both leads and can perform flying lead changes. Harley is a nice balance between lazy horse and hot horse. He is very responsive and moves right out when asked, but does not have a go go go attitude. He is very willing and wants to please. He will stop on a dime and is very light on the bit. Harley is a very sweet boy and has a gentle personality. He has excellent ground manners and is great to work around. Harley was previously used on the trail and for gymkhanas. He would also make an excellent cow horse, husband horse, or english pleasure horse. Harley is great out on the trail. He is a wonderful horse to take out alone. He will head right away from the barn and is very confident in himself. Not spooky out there. Quiet around cars, atvs, tractors, and wildlife. You can canter him through the field and then bring him right back to a halt with a light touch of the rein. Very responsive. Will stop and stand while you talk to your neighbor; doesn't get upset and want to go back to the barn. He leaves and returns to the barn at the same pace. He was awesome on our 3 hour loop where we come across a lot of traffic and strange animals (pigs, llamas). Just a really enjoyable horse to trail ride and it is tough to find horses that are happy and confident to go out alone. He is also great going out in a group. Can't say enough good things about this guy. Come take him for a ride. $3,700
