Spirit loves running barrels. She is at a 4D level. She has a solid foundation in giving to the bit and flexing at the pole. This improves her over all demeanor when it comes to speed events. She does not need a tie down or any harsh aids. She runs and stops nicely in an O-ring snaffle. She will run in a broken curb just fine as well. She runs clean and controllable. She has also ran poles a few times. Great play day mare. Good for novice to intermediate rider.

She is also a very accomplished halter mare with many ApHC points she and has been to the world show. She is built very stout and well balanced. She has a superior conformation, tight throat latch with a great slender neck, huge shoulder, wide hind quarters, small head. She has training in side passing, pivots on hind, backs, open/close gates, neck reins, crosses water and bridges. Great alone. Shoes or bare foot. She can be tied all night, trailers very easily, has been ridden double, bareback, can ride in a halter, carry saddle bags. She has not been known to buck, rear or bolt. She is the horse I put all my guests or green riders on because I trust her. However, she is by no means a dead head! She does perform better for skilled riders. She loves to be groomed and prepped for shows. This is a well bred mare ( AQHA Noble Tradition grandaughter and ApHC Deep South hall of fame race horse) that I have raised and is now 8 years old.
