I use this mare for everything, check cows, fence, gather cows, trail ride, playdays. If anyone comes to ride on the ranch I put them on her. 9 years old with a great handle. She can be gaited at the trot. I keep changing my mind on selling her since she is such a good horse and always one I can count on. I put her on pasture to teach my young horses how to be horses and she is doing great. Easy keeper, she looks fat on pasture. Great ground manners and a pleasure to ride. Long mane and tail. Update: I just took her off pasture were she has been for the last 2 1/2 months and got on and went looking for cows, she did great. Just like she never had a day off. Great trail horse, never has spooked with me and does what I asked doesn't refuse. If you know the basics you can ride her. She has hard feet and I haven't put shoes on her and we ride in the rocks. Easy to worm and give shots too. Cutting the herd down to focus more on competing. Not registered.Thanks for looking
