LH Mountaineer (Monty) is a 2005 Pinto with both a fantastic mind and body. Small but mighty is a perfect way to describe him. He is 15h but competes very well with the big boys. He has no problems making his strides and is quite scopey. Monty is currently competing Training level barefoot and in just an eggbutt snaffle. He is schooling some Prelim XC and SJ 3"6'-3"8 with no problems. Monty has a balanced canter and autochanges. Monty truly loves to jump, will take direction very well from his rider and is very honest- Never a buck, rear or bolt. His in your pocket, mellow attitude is unbeatable. He has incredibly strong feet and has never taken a lame step in his life. Monty would be a super match for a young rider or pony clubber wanting to ride Novice/Training/Prelim or even a smaller adult- I am 5"6' and fit perfectly!
