patch is a 5 year old spanish mustang gelding, 14 hands tall, very stout little guy. Nice smooth ride, hundreds of miles on the trails here in the Black Hills and Badlands. Easy going, tons of endurance, lots of try and give in this little guy. Pretty easy going, loves people, in your pocket, great disposition. Been ridden with dogs, been on camping trips, ridden in town, ridden along busy highways, ridden at night with flashlights, will pony other horses, can be ridden with a bit or just a halter and lead rope. Rock hard feet,never gets sore never needs shoes. Calm and quiet on the trail, no buck in this guy. Great horse for a kid with experience.
