His blood line includes DASH FOR CASH, FIRST DOWN DASH, and his sire LEAVING MEMORIES who set the fastest time in 1991in the all american futurity, and finished his racing career earning more than $112,000.00. On his dams side starting further back is NATIVE DANCER, RAISE A NATIVE, and RAISE YOUR GLASS.....check out Twisters pedigree on www.allbreedpedigree.com
Twister is completely healthy and sound. He dose have a conformation problem... he is pigeon toed upfront, It has never hinder him or caused any problems with his health or performance in his past or now. He was born in Texas trained and used for competitions in barrel racing, team penning, ranch and etc. The past 3some years he is just been used for fun and as a trail horse, we ourselves just got him this year and have had a blast riding him. He is has been an absolute joy to us :). Twister is ridden probably no less than 3 times a week, Besides his love to run he neck reigns, has a beautiful collected trot, and will walk nice on a loose reign.. he is considerably easy to handle. He also looks great and would do well for anyone who prefers to ride English. :)
A 11yr old neighbor boy rides him in all gaits on all different types of terrain completely bare-back! :) . Twister makes an awesome trail horse! he goes anywhere and doesn't spook or get worried of his surroundings. He would make a great 4H horse for a "Experienced" youth/young adult looking to upgrade to something faster. He dose need to be touched up on patterns, techniques, and etc. considering his break from competing. This horse wouldn't be the best match for a very novice or inexperienced/beginner rider, he needs someone with confidence that isn't afraid of big horses .
He also clips, loads, lunges, stands quite for the farrier, gets along with other horses and is not dominate. As of Monday September 5th he was trimmed and shod with Natural Balance horse shoes :). This is my husbands horse and we are NOT desperate to sell him... we are only selling him with interest in getting something "younger" preferably a mare....We are asking $900.00 firm.... "might" consider trades on only other "Registered" quarter horse, paint, appaloosa, thoroughbred etc... around 15.hn.and up...... No gaited horses!!! If interested please contact Maria through phone, text, or email. Serious inquires only please :)...Thank You ...(: daytime PH# 931-623-2390 evening PH# 931-622-6799
