Additional Comments:
Pete is a very laid back Thoroughbred. He was trained english and then sold to a trail barn where I " rescued" him. He is up to date on shots, worming, feet, floating. I have been riding him english and have done some jumping with him. However, he has a stifle problem and I personally do not want to jump him as much as I would like to jump. I had his stifle blistered about a month ago and he is sound to ride. Pete also goes western and I have been working with him on neck reining. He has got a jog to die for! I think he could make a good Western pleasure horse. Moves good off of leg pressure. He stands good for everything, bathes and clips. I only get to ride him once or twice a week so I longe him about for about 10 minutes before I ride him, if hes too fresh he will kick out his heels sometimes. Not a buck, just kicking out. I wouldn't really recommend a beginner for him. He does good on trails, will go alone, lead or follow. I have put alot of time into this horse and really hate to get rid of him. I am more into jumping and dont want to jump him with his stifle problem. And I really dont have alot of time for him with 2 kids and a husband that works really long hours sometimes. He gets along good with any horse really. Hes not aggressive but will put another horse in their place if needed. NEVER RACED! I would prefer to be contacted by email first and then I can call you back. With 2 little kids sometimes its hard to talk on the phone. :-) juliesellsmark@aim.com or 843-726-3515.
