My family has had Zadi since he was 10 months old. My sister bought him from a local breeder and personally trained all the ground basics. Just shy of 3yo she sent him for 60 days prof training and within 2 weeks the 14yo son of the trainer was riding him bareback in a halter around the yard...Zadi was the easiest colt she had broke she said. He has maintained this laid back attitude thru hundreds of trail miles in Wickenburg and trailered a few summers to California.... (read more) If I had to describe him I would say he has the Arab personality of a puppy dog but the appy level head and tendency to be lazy. He is plain chestnut in the summer but sheds to a full snowflaked body in the summer with a long forelock and tail.
I need Zadi to go to a good home where someone will give him attention. If you walk to the pasture he is the first one to approach you and wants to know everything that is going on. Although his time off would probably not ensure him to be the best for a beginning kid anyone with a little horse experience should be able to handle him. Free of vices, no issues with shoes or bathing. He has been ridden with a breast collar and a back cinch and saddle bags with no problems but not ridden double.
Have full sire pedigree (arabian), can forward info if desired.
Due to my ongoing medical condition and surgeries and my other 2 horses he has not been ridden and I feel guilty. Just looking for that forever home where I know he will be treated right. Can send pictures email, call or text okay.
